
Terms and Conditions
Please take a moment to read my Terms and Conditions - it's always a good idea to get all the information before rushing into anything.
1. Quotes
Quotes are provided for the Diamond Package and Custom Packages. Quotes provided through the quotation generator in the Custom Package area are valid for 24 hours from the time of generation, and must be ordered in that time, else a new quotation will need to be generated.
Diamond Package quotations provided are valid for 30 days from the date it is given. This date will be marked on the email or written quote the client will receive. The client must agree to the quote and pay the required deposit (see section 2. Payment) before the 30 days, else a new quotation will need to be issued.
2. Payment
Site Flight Web Design's payment scheme works on an installation basis. I accept Cash, Cheque, Direct Deposit and PayPal.
- 2.1 Emerald Package: Deposit (payable up-front) will be 50% of advertised price, and final payment (payable upon completion) will be 50%.
- 2.2 Ruby Package: Deposit (payable up-front) will be 30% of advertised price, ongoing payment (payable upon mockup approval) will be 30%, and final payment (payable upon completion) will be 40%.
- 2.3 Sapphire Package: Deposit (payable up-front) will be 30% of advertised price, ongoing payment (payable upon mockup approval) will be 30%, and final payment (payable upon completion) will be 40%.
- 2.4 Diamond Package: Payment scheme will be specifed in quotation.
- 2.5 Custom Package: Orders of under $300 will be payable in full up-front.
Orders of $301 or greater will be payable through the following scheme: Deposit (payable up-front) will be 30% of advertised price, ongoing payment (payable upon mockup approval) will be 30%, and final payment (payable upon completion) will be 40%.
Any other item purchased will require a full up-front payment.
Upon issue of an invoice, the client is to pay within 30 days, else the service to be paid for will be halted until further payment is received.
3. Support
Site Flight Web Design provides limited support to Hosting and Website design and files. Upon any purchase with Site Flight Web Design, you will receive the email address for Customer Support. You may also call the telephone number indicated in the left column, or use Skype. I am only available for support during the contact hours 10am-4pm Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays and planned vacation time. I will notify all hosting clients of upcoming holidays, during which time I will not be available for support or further work.
- 3.1 Hosting Support: Support questions sent to me by email will be answered within two business days (as specified above). This service is inclusive in your hosting fees.
- 3.2 Web Design Support: I provide full support for any issues regarding my own files, provided they are not tampered with (see section 4. Complaints). Anything further (including but not limited to: changes to existing pages, extra site design, development, coding, database management, installation of web applications/services, graphic art, Flash development and animation, content writing or editing) will be charged at a $60/hour fee, with a minimum of 1 hour.
- 3.3 Support Unrelated to Site Flight Web Design: I am not liable for support for hosting if the hosting that belongs to the client in question is not under the control of Site Flight Web Design. If you are hosted elsewhere, I cannot give support in relation to hosting.
Any support related to Domain Names will need to be addressed to the Domain Registrar as given in your setup information upon purchase of a package or service.

4. Complaints
If a client is dissatisfied with my service, he or she may make a formal complaint for my records, and receive prompt support and service if such service is within my control. This does not include hosting or uptime. Any complaints regarding the host may be forwarded to FlexiHostings Australia. It also does not include any business or sales that may be lost through any problems. The complaint is null and void if there is any evidence of tampering with the installed application source code (by the client or an external source - excluding hacking attacks), and the client will be asked to pay for further support at $60/hour.
If these conditions are met and the fault is my own, I will refund money corresponding to the amount of time the service has been problematic or unavailable, and will promptly fix the problem if it is possible to do so. If it is not, I will redevelop the website at no extra cost.
In the event of a hacker, I will rectify the problem as soon as it is identified at no charge, and refund one month’s hosting.
If the client is hosted elsewhere, I am only liable to fix coding and graphics issues of my own error.
5. Copyright and Intellectual Property
Site Flight Web Design is not liable for the legality of any content on its hosted or designed websites. All copyrighted materials placed on a Website must be provided with permission or ownership by the client. If such permission is not attained, the client is solely responsible for any breaches of copyright or intellectual property law in Australia or worldwide.
